SKU Beacon is a personal project for selected Shopify product CSV checks. It is not affiliated with Shopify. It does not connect to or change your store, evaluate spreadsheet formulas or check remote image availability.

What is available

The free preview checks supported files, shows field findings, offers conservative whitespace fixes and lets you edit values manually. Complete CSV and issue-report exports are free for files with up to 100 data rows. Larger exports are not available yet; records are never silently truncated.

Input limits are 15,000,000 bytes, 100,000 data rows and 2,000,000 parsed cells per file. Stored findings are capped at 10,000 while counts include omitted findings. Applied repairs are capped at 20,000 per pass, and additional eligible values remain unchanged. Read the on-screen limit notices and review all applied changes.

Review before importing

A file with no checked errors may still fail an import or affect data unexpectedly. Store settings, existing products and unsupported fields are outside this preview’s scope. Keep your original export, review the changes and use Shopify’s import preview. You decide which values to change and whether to import.

CSV downloads preserve formula-like text and leading zeros. If opening a downloaded file in a spreadsheet, import the relevant columns as text rather than enabling formulas.

Availability

This preview may change or be unavailable. It does not promise that every store rule is checked. No account or store connection is required. Keep copies of your own files; the page’s in-memory working copy is discarded when you close or refresh it.
